What are the Factors of Non-Failure conducive to Successful Learning and Positive Karma?

They are: continually refine determination to take refuge in the teaching of the enlightened ones; be mindful of its benefit; train in the cause for its increase; avoid misleading our teacher or parent through self-interest and be sincere towards them; avoid inducing regret in others where there should be none and rejoice in their virtuous action; avoid being critical of those worthy of reverence and give praise to them without reservation; and avoid behaving dishonestly towards all beings with pretence and delusion.
