What is Sum-Yi / Yi-Chuan (The Methods of Mind & Intention)?

The founder of Sum-I was Grandmaster Wang Shian-Jie (1885-1963) who was also a Master of Xingyi Quan. He advocated that Xingyi Quan in its original form did not contain any set sequences, and that one can cultivate more intrinsic qi power and real ability through the integration of the functional principles of stationary and moving Meditative Nei Kung practice with the aim of cultivating qi power for health and self-defence. His method is also known by the names of Yi-Quan / I-Chuan (Mind Boxing) and Da Cheng Quan (Great Achievement Boxing).
